During my time as production design student we were to choose a song and build a set capturing the conveyed emotion. I chose Imogen Heap- Hide and Seek. The song made me isolated yet trapped and belittled. I drew inspiration from abandoned overgrown places in the world.

Upon drawing out my designs I wanted to exaggerate the emotions. I made the set larger than life in comparison to my scale model. The model is completely surrounded by mirrors and her own reflections. She is trapped by a hand. The walls interpret her feelings of sorrow and isolation. The mirrors give you endlesss possibilities of lighting. I used a pale blue spot light to light the set.
